Internet has been pretty good, but also intermittent and very slow, so my ability to communicate frequently is a bit hampered. But now I have an opportunity for quick note on Thanksgiving here in Chontal.
Arrived
It's been difficult to get internet signal, bit just a note that I'm here in Chontal. I'll try to keep updates as I can. For now, a photo after a few hours playing with kids:
“Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Mt 19:14)

A New Fundraiser Starting Today
Have A Coke And A ...
He Already Has
Pope Francis shared a reflection about being missionary disciples recently, and some of his remarks resonated with the road I'm on, and on the general theme of "mission to the poor." So I got a little spark in me and expanded on them a bit to share some of my own thoughts, especially as it relates to Barriers To Bridges.
Meeting Follow-Up, Part 2
Meeting Follow-Up
Thank you to all who came last night, it was a special opportunity to see everyone and to be able to share more of the perspective and experience of this mission between Ecuador and the US. Those that were able to stay until the end decided it would be good to meet again in two weeks to discuss our responses.
